Live webcam broadcasts a view of the Venetian Lagoon in real time. The camera is installed at the B&B La Rosa dei Venti & Porta da Mar hotel in Venice (Italy). The camera is directed towards the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Healing (Cathedral of Santa Maria della Salute), which can be seen in the central part of the video broadcast. The cathedral was erected in honor of the deliverance of Venice from the plague of 1630-1631.

On the left side of the broadcast, you can see the snow-white lighthouse of San Giorgio Maggiore, located on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, one of the most famous islands in the Venetian lagoon. The lighthouse of San Giorgio Maggiore is about 12 meters high, made of white stone. It is connected to the island by a bridge-path made of the same stone.

On the right side of the video broadcast from the live webcam, you can see the Campanile of St. Mark's Cathedral. This is a free-standing bell tower (about a hundred meters high) at St. Mark's Cathedral in Venice. The Campanile is located in Piazza San Marco.
